Michael,
From Australia came for the snow season and now applying for another visa in Canada.
It looks like in Banff most of the people come for a short term but then they want to stay for longer lol.
It happened the same for me and it has been over 9 years already lol. Time flies isn't it?

Jason, originally from Australia, came to Banff for a ski season—and never left.
He stopped by today for a passport photo, but kindly accepted my offer to take a smiling portrait as well.

I never saw too far.
At 17, I realized my vision was limited — the world in the distance was blurry, unreachable. For years, I simply accepted it.

Then everything changed.
In my early 30s, I got glasses… and my first telephoto lens — a 55-200mm. Suddenly, I could see what was once invisible. Recently, with my 200-500mm, I captured photographers from far away, so clearly, it felt like a superpower.

Sometimes, clarity doesn’t come to your eyes right away — but photography gave mine a second chance.

Do you recognized some locals people? perhaps are mostly visitor lol.
