A brief history...
Benjies and Mpties classic soundsystem...Get ready for ska, rocksteady, early roots and basically reggae hits from all decades. From 1962 'till brand new.
Benji and Mpti, known as JB-sound since 2002, wanted to play more of their classic reggae collection to let people enjoy the real hits and rarities from the early years of reggae. So in the summer of 2011 we decided to start with The Dukes Of SKAzzard... Ska, rocksteady & early reggae all the way! Since then we’ve been on a great ride down memory lane, playing for the nicest of people in Belgium and abroad at festivals and parties such as: Riverside Stomp (Mainz 2012/2013), Lost archives tour with Clive Chin (France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium 2013), Rototom Sunsplash (Spain 2014/2015/2018), Dour (Be 2014/2017/2019), Reggae Geel (Be 2013/2016) etc… In the mean time the selection has grown again since reggae has so much to offer over the years. There's hits in every decade and style. Well versatile is what we stand for.
So, come along and move your dancing feet to the classic beat! Cuz this station....rrrrrulez the nation!
