Mintaka started out as Dreamsequence, an earlier name i chose a long time ago. Those days I played a mix of dubstep, drum and bass, crossbreed, hard-frenchcore and tekno. Later on, I grew more into techno and the Goa-subgenres, and I went through the whole lot, and still love every subgenre GOA it has to this day. But what really makes me move is the music I discovered only in 2014, while attendin
g my first BOOM festival (What an experience). While floating over the boomland, i passed by the Alchemy Circle and heard what I called then 'some weird but awesome psychedelic techno'. Needless to say, I found my place to spend my festival, and together with that the genres that combined my 2 greatest love's:
Techno and 'Psytrance'. So since then, I have mainly been spending my time listening to every zenon/techtrance/darkprog/psytechno artist I could find, trying to build up a nice collection of music that drives me. I am always eager to share this music with people, to share the goosebumps these frequencies gave to me. I hope you all enjoy the music i compile in my weekly mixes.
