We would like to apologize cause it's been a while since there was any news from our side after our great 1st edition. Some issues have caused the problem, so we can hardly proceed with the Kadanz-saga at this moment.

We feel very sorry about this, but hey! We'll make it up for you. ;-) You can count on it that we're planning a next edition for the summer of 2k16!!

The fairytale started in the year 2004 with the original recipe of ‘Ben&Karbie’, under which they’ve ruled all kind of local parties and new year celebrations during the years. Being recognised by the heavier players in the scene they’ve earned their place at bigger parties like Eject, Karma Music Afternoon Sessions and also they we’re given the opportunity to play @ Forest Festival.
With loads of experience built upon the years they’ve given birth to their current and more underground minded alter ego C&B. The birth of Colsen & Bates even as the 10th anniversary of Ben&Karbie was properly celebrated last summer at Opus Schellebelle.
Opus was a dart in the bullseye with guest dj’s such as Don Ca**on, Jeks, BassX, Heisa and some of our own residents.. rumour says that a next edition of this mighty open air might be expected next summer. In the meantime they’ve kept blending House & Techno into a tastefull smoothie with passages at some nice places like Options @ Club Montreal, Comme ça, Decadance!…
One thing’s for sure, C&B always delivers. So be prepared, cause they’ll bring some earcandy to start their residency @ Kadanz.

It all started in 2005, when Steven Van Belle downloaded one of Richie Hawtin’s sets after hearing of I Love Techno on the national news. A few moments later his mind was completely blown and his new love was found.

In 2012, after years of practising and exploring different kinds of electronical music, Steven decided to move to Kortrijk to pursue his musical ambitions. With the ambitions to bring it further, he started Ohm, a Techno & House community built, around a weekly radioshow and some parties. In the meantime Ohm ( even as some smaller Ohm-organized concepts like Cultus and Techyard) has grown into one of the leading parties that combine the pleasures of house and techno.

Together with his concept, Pilose himself is gettin’ quite big as he’s concidered one of the leading youngsters, especially in the Techno scene. Due to his bangin’ sound and the knowledge of so many tracks he’s recognized by some bigger clubs/concepts like Café d'Anvers (Official), Labyrinth Club, Decadance!, Area 51, Ostend Beach and even Kozzmozz where he will perform on the 28th of March!

Few Dj’s of his age has shared the decks w/ Gary Beck, RODHAD, Monika Kruse, Matador, Joris Voorn, Marcel Fengler, Clouds, Harvey McKay and so on..
WE are proud to present you Pilose as a headliner. We couldn’t wish ourselves a better lad to start the Kadanz story, as he reflects perfect to the profile we’re looking for.

Expect some heavy Bangers from this rising star in the Belgian Techno scene.

Kadanz, An epic party by epic people. The infamous crew from ‘Kotevents’ offers you all a brand new concept, in order to fill in the missing gap in underground music between Aalst & Ghent.

Our main goal? To bring our beloved crowd a multisensory concept built upon firm foundations, better known as House and Techno, at some unique locations.

Because of our ambition to crawl out of the slightly private underground and the increasing guestlist-demand for our parties, we’ve decided to come out of the blue to offer anyone with an elaborate taste of music & mutual respect/ understanding the opportunity to have a good time!

The people who’ve been to our secret parties in the past know what to expect… For the difficult understanders amongst us:
If you expect EDM, R&B or some other kinds of bootyshaking/jumpandscreaming/cake-throwing kinds of music, you won’t find what youre looking for.
