Enjoy the pictures of our 3th edition of Bots Bats @ Faces Antwerp!!! ❤. Thx everyone for the support and of course a big thx to faces for the great night! And a speciale thx to Aiki Photography for the lovely great pictures again 😊❤
It has been a little while since our last club event but we wanted to make our next edition worthwhile waiting so therefore we're in for a special treat this time ;) Something new has been brewing the last few months and, in collaboration with Bots Bats, we want to offer fresh weekend party concept with truly quality music brought by low-key yet talented headliners combined with our residents & guest DJ's but without asking ridiculous high door prices and still offering a great night out... With this idea we want to break the unwritten rule that only expensive DJ's or headliners are able to deliver quality music, which is obviously not the case.. so with much pride and enthusiasm we present you the first edition of CLΛQUE!
With this 'Frenchy' name we want to refer to the power, the style, the meaning and importance a clap can have in the minimal deep-tech & (tech-)house music genre because without any claps, you just have an empty or incomplete track isn't it? The same like with a great bottle of wine but without any alcohol.. Or like Techno music without 'Tech' just gives you a dull no ;)
For this first edition we invited two uprising talented Italian DJ's with massive productions in the minimal deep-tech and techhouse scene over the last few years. Yet these guys aren't generally discovered by the clubbing audience though their tracks are played and supported by many well known artists such as The Martinez Brothers, Latmun, Loco Dice and Marco Corola just to name a few.
Expect a stunning night with your family party-squad & friends surrounded in a true Vaag atmosphere indulged by the hottest and latest dirty bass line tracks all our artists have to offer!
We gonna keep it real... but with a big blast that's for sure 💣

♥️ Jo'kes played a couple of times in Club Vaag and will open tonight. After warming up he will join his brother from his mother in a b2b from 3 till 4
♠️ KOKO is one of our residents. This time he will do the closing from 4 till 6. So be prepared....

The translation of the word ‘reus’ in English is Giant. The reason I choose this nickname is because of my fysicall handicap called dwarfism. Thanks to our ‘beautifull’ society to give this disease a name... to seperate us automatically from, what they call ‘the normall people’. To make a long story short, here am I, Reus. I want to, and I’ll shall prove the opposite. Life’s to short to cry and complain.
Reus is artist from listening to all kinds of music as a kid. Having his own Hi-fi soundsystem in his bedroom in ‘Overpelt’ and playing cd’s and even cassettes. At the age of 16 he started experimenting with ‘house music’. From that moment it was instantly clear that he couldn’t get enough of this genre. Starting to buy his very first small dj-controller and searching for tracks and releases. When he was 18 years old he moved to the city Ghent (where he is still living) to study : Illustration & Graphic design. In Ghent, he had met a lot of people. Leendert was one of them. “Reus&Leendert” bought their very first cdj’s & mixer together. After a couple of years of deejaying together they managed to play different times in clubs as: Decadance, Club Vaag, Kompass Club, Crush Club & Café d’anvers. They Jumped around as little kids when they were invited to play at the Nature One festival on 2 different stages. After all these years they decided to split and play most of the times seperate. Reus is resident & member of the concept called: Die Eckte. Die Eckte invited names on their events as; Joey Daniel, Latmun, Daniel Selfmade, Darius Syrossian, Pawsa and even Claude Von Stroke. From the moment they splitted Reus played seperate times in ‘Club Vaag’, ‘Kompass Club’,... and his very first time in‘Nb-Club’ - Figueira Da Foz. (Portugal) One of his very first tracks called ‘huis’(unreleased) is played on belgiums national radiostation ‘Studio Brussel’ by Goldfox.
This new-kid-from-the-blok straight out of Denderbelle is been playing electronical music for 7 years. His passion for music started when he was just a little kid, on the age of 6 he started to play saxophone until he was 12 years old. His passion and love for the electronic music developed when he was 16 years old and went to a club for the first time. “I went to a Techno party and I was overwhelmed by the music. I still remember standing there for the first time: the drumming, thunderous bass that I felt over my entire body, followed by a loud bang which instantly gave me that WAUW effect”. After 3 years of collecting music of different music labels he decided that this is what he wanted to do. He bought his first dj gear and started practice each day until he go to sleep. At every after party with friends, he was the resident dj. He posted his sets regularly on Soundcloud and after doing this for 3 years, his been making his way in the night scène since starting at the Decadance in Ghent. From there on, things turned out positive pretty quick with gigs at Café d’Anvers, Decadance, Kompass and also at Club Vaag, as one of the residents of Die Eckte on their SKAANDALEUX parties. Let’s not forget to mention the tour to Portugal, Figueira da Foz where he set NB Club on fire!
His energetic Deep tech style mixed with some of that funky flavour is what he loves to serve the dancing people.
