A night to remember for Easyfairs at the EN Awards✨

Our founder and chairman Eric Everard was honoured with the prestigious EN Pioneer Award, recognising nearly four decades of innovation, vision and leadership that have helped shape today’s events industry.

On top of this, our UK Packaging team won the Best Event Partnership Award with BCMPA, and Easyfairs celebrated 13 finalists across 10 award categories – a powerful testament to the teams and culture Eric has inspired.

We are proud to share our second Sustainability Report, showcasing the progress we have made together across our venues and events to make them more responsible and sustainable.

Since our 2019 baseline, we have:
✅Reduced total CO₂ emissions by 34%
✅Cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 64%
✅Decreased carbon intensity per event by 27%

Beyond the numbers, the report highlights how our team members are reducing the environmental impact of our events and venues, how our events increasingly embed sustainability in their content 🎤, and how we continue to invest in professional development, wellbeing and inclusion for our team members 💚

This report reflects the daily work and commitment of the entire Easyfairs community, from venues to events, partners and support teams 🙌

Futurebuild UK will be joining forces with UK Construction Week at ExCeL London from 12 to 14 May 2026, creating a UK built environment powerhouse event.

The combined event is expected to draw 25,000 built environment professionals, host over 600 exhibitors, and deliver more than 700 talks across 10 stages, making it the largest construction gathering in the UK.

Both events will retain their unique identities and audiences while together forming a single destination covering innovation, sustainability, retrofit, skills and the full construction supply chain.

Futurebuild will continue to lead on net zero, sustainability and retrofit, including The National Retrofit Conference, while UK Construction Week London will provide the industry’s most comprehensive practical showcase, connecting contractors, housebuilders, engineers and trades with tools, materials, plant, digital construction technologies, skills and CPD-led content, alongside live demonstrations that support real-world delivery across commercial, residential and infrastructure projects.

But this time, we put our smallest room to work: our recording studio at Easyfairs HQ in Brussels! 🎥✨ Our studio is normally used to produce e-learning modules for The Academy Online, our internal platform for continuous team development. But when we learned about the inspiring mission of SMOG, we saw an opportunity to use this space in support of a cause that truly reflects our values.
SMOG is an initiative that helps individuals with communication impairments express themselves through gestures. By offering our studio and video editing support, we helped them expand their video library and develop their app, making communication more accessible for those in need 💬🤝
