👰♀️ Wedding Dress Cake – Recipe
Ingredients
For the Vanilla Cake
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 ¾ cups milk
For the Buttercream
1 ½ cups unsalted butter (softened)
4 cups powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Decoration
1.5–2 kg white fondant
Edible pearls
Edible glitter (optional)
Small fondant ruffles, lace textures, bows
Food coloring (very light pink or champagne if desired)

Instructions
1. Bake the Cake
1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
2. Grease and line three round cake pans (your 3-tier preference).
3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
4. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
5. Add eggs one by one, then vanilla.
6. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk until smooth.
7. Divide the batter into the pans and bake 25–30 minutes.
8. Let cakes cool completely.

2. Prepare the Buttercream
1. Beat butter until pale.
2. Add powdered sugar gradually.
3. Add milk and vanilla until creamy and smooth.

3. Assemble the Cake
1. Level all three cakes.
2. Add buttercream between each layer.
3. Apply a thin crumb coat.
4. Chill 20 minutes.
5. Apply a smooth final coat of buttercream.

4. Cover with Fondant
1. Roll out white fondant to a large thin sheet.
2. Cover the cake smoothly using a fondant smoother.
3. Trim excess.

5. Create the Wedding Dress Design
Shape the bodice on the top tier using fondant.
Add fondant lace, pleats, and soft ruffles flowing down the tiers.
Use edible pearls to imitate dress beading.
Add a fondant bow or a small waist belt.
Brush lightly with edible pearl dust for a wedding glow.
