FAS7STAR, an incorporated entertainment company, was established two years ago specifically for the staging of the Barbados leg of the annual Hennessy Artistry international concerts. The company formalized a previous relationship between FAS Entertainment Services (FAS) and 7 Star Entertainment (7Star) which had been responsible for the successful staging of this highly acclaimed event. Establish
ed in 2004, FAS itself was born out of an amalgamation of three previously independent entertainment companies – AG Productions, Premier Promotions and Hardcore Promotions. Since then FAS has established an enviable reputation staging the annual Barbados Reggae Festival, which evolved from a single event (Reggae on the Hill) 11 years ago to being officially recognised as a national festival, comprising four events. Led by experienced promoters Al Gilkes and Roger “Freddy” Hill, FAS also previously staged the popular Ten-to-Ten Crop Over party and has been jointly involved with various other promotions over the years. Allison Hunte, another equally experienced promoter, is at the helm of 7Star. This dynamic, full-service entertainment company is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and offers specialized services in Event Management, Artiste Management, Talent Representation and General Entertainment Consulting Services locally, regionally and internationally. In addition to staging several successful productions in Barbados in previous years, 7Star has been involved with the Sidestep Reggae Festival in Portugal, the Positive Vibes Festival and the Miami Fly Girls at the Miami Carnival. Established in 2002, 7Star has also managed and represented such top regional entertainers as Jah Cure, Kevin Lyttle, Sanchez, Anthony B, Konshens, Hezron, Shabba Ranks, Richie Campbell, Richie Spice and Livvi Franc. The company’s mission includes representing and developing future stars to the point of commercial viability on the world stage.
