On 10th April I had the honour of officiating a ceremony for Brett and Lauren.

One of the most special chapters of their story came after travelling more than 1,000 kilometres together, when Brett got down on one knee at the base of Uluru and asked Lauren to spend forever with him.

Together, Lauren and Brett have built a beautiful life grounded in friendship, teamwork, trust, and unconditional support. 🤍

At the heart of it all, these two are best friends choosing each other every single day through all of life’s moments, big and small.

Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, love, adventures, and growing old together ✨

On the 29th of November, I had the pleasure of marrying Laura and Justin.

Laura and Justin first met at a country music concert, and by the end of the night Laura had done the unthinkable, she let three very dusty buzzed on beers boys jump into her brand new Hilux for a lift home. A bold move that clearly paid off.

After plenty of trips over the range to see each other, a move to the farmhouse in Clintonvale, and many outdoor adventures together, these two built a pretty special life side by side. On Christmas Day of 2024, he surprised her with a proposal on the back of a jet ski at Storm King Dam.

Laura and Justin married on their block of land where they plan on building their new home in the near future.

Congratulations to the new Mr + Mrs Osbaldeston.

Mr + Mrs McLennan

On 8th November I had the pleasure of being Kris and Darcey’s celebrant. Sometimes the best love stories start in the most unexpected ways… for example being given the cold shoulder at a pub over the Australia Day cricket carnival weekend. Their very first date fell on Valentine’s Day, and by March of 2021, it was official — and the rest is history.

Since then, Kris and Darcey have filled their life together with adventures, holidays, plenty of golf competitions, and a countless amount of laughter together in simple everyday moments. Their relationship has always been easy, full of fun, and built on genuine love and friendship.
When it came time to propose, Kris kept it simple while they were holidaying in Tasmania. He pulled out the ring and casually asked, “Well… do you wanna get married?” Darcey’s only request was that he get down on one knee, something Kris reluctantly agreed to, despite wearing his “good jeans” that day.

What they share is something truly special: Kris admires Darcey for her caring and nurturing nature, while Darcey loves that Kris can find joy and laughter in any moment.
Through every adventure and every quiet day in between, their love has only grown stronger and now, they step into the future together — hand in hand, ready for whatever journey is to come next. 🤍
