When he's not on Reception or helping out the maintenance team, Andrew is a surf-loving local, who also shapes custom surfboards...

And upcycles second-hand boards to save them from landfill. One of his creations even hangs proudly in our reception space!

"It’s a lovely feeling surfing on something you have created yourself."

Today we celebrate World Tourism Day 🌿 And we'd like to introduce an important member of our team. Myriam leads our in-house yoga, and is also our Sustainability Manager!

The theme of this year's is "Tourism & Peace". One of the ways in tourism that we bring people together, foster connections, and promote mental wellness, is through yoga.

Retreats in particular promote meaningful travel, focused on finding peace and highlighting what we have locally. We recognise the importance of encouraging sustainable tourism, to protect the environment and ensure it can be enjoyed by travellers into the future.

Our experiences are designed around slowing down and connecting, with wellness and sustainability in mind.

And we wanted to celebrate one of our recent achievements led by Myriam, and supported by you - our guests!

This local legend is probably one of the first friendly faces you'll meet during your stay with us

Always greeting our guests with a smile, Andrew loves a surf in his spare time and is the superstar organiser behind our annual staff footy tipping competition...

And he always adds in a dad joke or two!
