A few moments from Cassandra & Asher’s wedding day.

I’ve been loving going through their gallery of photos, the colours they’ve chosen for the bridal party, Asher’s suit and the elements throughout the day couldn’t complement the autumn leaves and the dark horse vibe more perfectly!

It sounded like such a fun day and I know Ludo had a wonderful time with this crew! We’ll be sharing even more photos soon.

We love an engagement shoot!!

Why?

Because they’re fun!

It’s a chance for Ludo and our couple to get to know each other, and vice versa, and to get any awkwardness out of the way!
By the looks of things Ludo also got the awkwardness out of the way by making Will and Anna awkwardly kiss, which they managed for only a split second before cracking up laughing!!! 🤣

See awkwardness gone 🙌🏼

From there it’s just time together, getting use to a camera following you around, having a few laughs, soaking up then sunset and it all ending in a gallery of gorgeous shots and a lot more confidence on your wedding day!

I love looking back over our couples wedding galleries. No matter how many times I look back at them I always spot little moments I haven’t before.

Today I was looking back at Bianca and Luke’s gallery and noticed these images and the way they look at each other in images snapped along the way by Ludo during their bridal portraits (aside from the veil shot of course, there was a bit of curation in that one 😂)

It just shows that when a photographer understands the emotions and sees the little moments that happen all throughout a wedding day, that you can end up with a gallery filled with so many precious images, ones that become even more important than the shots you print and pop up on your wall!

I’ve been going over past weddings tonight so I can share full galleries with the wonderful couples that have enquired this week & Caitlin & Liam’s wedding at Bidja Estate is one that never dates!

The vibe they created for their wedding perfectly matched the rustic, bushland vibes of the estate.

This is such a gorgeous venue and we can’t wait to be back there again soon 😍

We’re bombarded with photos every day, but sometimes when you take a second to stop and really look you notice something more!

When I really looked at this photo I noticed the look in Tom’s eyes and potentially the hesitation of what was to come on the faces of Anna and their bridal party! Would Tom soak them all in sticky champers, would his attempt be an absolute fail, would their attempt at this fun wedding photo tradition actually work out?!

I’m pretty certain Tom knew it would! You can see from the photos that followed that he seriously committed to getting the perfect shots and they all seemed to have an awesome time doing it!! There was probably also a lot of relief when they all were covered in the champagne too 😂😂

Cassandra & Asher’s wedding at Darkhorse was an absolute show stopper!

They could not have picked a more picturesque time of year to get married at Darkhorse and the colours of Asher’s suit and the bridal party dresses absolutely popped with the autumn colours & on top of all that Cassandra absolutely stole the show looking stunning in her bridal gown 🥰
