🌿 A Wildflower Farewell — Sending Love in Times of Grief 🤍

There are some orders that carry a little more meaning than others. 🤍

This beautiful large native sympathy arrangement was created as a personal order, thoughtfully made to send love, comfort and a little piece of the Australian bush to someone walking through the difficult days of grief.

Featuring a beautiful King White Protea, Banksia, Kangaroo Paw, waxflower and delicate seasonal blooms, together with an abundance of native foliage, it was designed to feel natural, generous and heartfelt — a little bit wild, just like the country around us. 🌿

Sometimes flowers can say the things we simply can’t find the words for…

🌿💍❤️ 70 YEARS… CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? ❤️💍🌿

Seventy years.

Just stop and think about that for a moment… 70 years of marriage. 🥹❤️

70 years of waking up beside the person you love.
70 years of holding hands through the good times and the hard times.
70 years of laughter, memories, family, adventures, challenges and countless little moments that make up a lifetime together.

Wow. Just wow.

What an incredible achievement — and one that is becoming almost unheard of. To spend seven decades loving, supporting and choosing each other is something truly extraordinary. ❤️

It was such an absolute privilege to create this beautiful large ceramic arrangement especially for this very special couple to celebrate their 70th Wedding Anniversary.

I wanted it to feel just as special as the occasion, so I filled it with beautiful Australian natives — wildflowers, banksias, leucadendrons and other seasonal blooms — bringing a little piece of our Australian countryside into their celebration. 🌾🌿

There’s something about Australian native flowers that feels so beautifully fitting for a milestone like this. Strong, resilient, enduring and still blooming year after year. ❤️

And perhaps that’s a little like a love that has lasted 70 years.

From our little patch of country, it was an honour to create something for a love story that has lasted a lifetime.

70 years together… wow. What a beautiful, beautiful thing. 🥹💍❤️

🌿❤️ THE PINS ARE STARTING TO POP! ❤️🌿

There’s a little bit of magic happening out here in the flower paddock… the Leucospermums (Pincushions) are starting to wake up! 🌸

This is one of my bright red varieties, and look at those little pins budding up and starting to colour. ❤️ They’re getting ready to put on a ripper of a show!

The local birdlife absolutely loves these beauties when they’re in flower.

Isn’t this red coloured variety popping?! 👀❤️
There are oranges and yellows starting to make an appearance too! 🧡💛

It won’t be long before the paddock is dotted with these quirky little pincushion blooms, bringing a splash of colour to the bush.

Spring is starting to show her hand… and I reckon she’s going to be a beauty! 🌸🌿

🌿 A little giving back to the community we call home 🌿

There’s something pretty special about living and working in a small country community — where people know each other, support each other, and come together when it matters. 🤍

At Blooms in the Bush, we’re proud to support local community events, charities and fundraisers whenever we can.

Tonight, these two arrangements are heading along to Anakie Primary School’s major fundraiser of the year — their Trivia Night. 💐✨

For small country communities, supporting one another really does make a difference. Local people supporting local businesses helps small businesses like ours grow and keep going, and we believe it’s just as important to give something back and support the wonderful people, schools, groups and events that make our community what it is.

Because community is a two-way street — we support each other, we cheer each other on, and together we help keep our little country communities thriving. 🌿

We’re grateful to be a small part of it. 🩵
