🎨 Meet the Face Behind the Paintbrush

Hi everyone! 👋
I thought it was time to properly introduce myself!

My name is Amandine, but many people know me as Dino. I’m originally from France and have been living in Australia for over 15 years.
I’m an Early Childhood Educator with 10 years of experience working with children, and I hold a current Blue Card and Public Liability Insurance.

Three years ago, I followed my passion and became a professional face painter. Since then, I have had the privilege of bringing smiles to faces at birthday parties, community events, festivals, school functions, and family celebrations.

My favourite part of face painting is seeing people's imaginations come to life. Whether someone wants to become a butterfly, dinosaur, superhero, unicorn, or something completely unique, I love helping make their ideas a reality.

I paint all ages, from little ones to adults—there’s no age limit when it comes to fun and creativity! 🌈

When I’m not painting, here are a few fun facts about me — I live on a boat 🌊 (yep, that’s home!), and I love skydiving 🪂. Always chasing a bit of adventure and a good dose of fun!

🤯 Kids Have the Best Ideas!

One of my favourite ways to practise new designs is with my mini face-painting consultants. 🎨✨

Not only do they let me paint them, but they also come up with ideas that I would never think of myself!

This week, I asked what he would like painted and expected the usual answers: a tiger, dinosaur, superhero, or maybe a dragon...

Instead, he said:

"Can you paint my neck?"

A neck face paint? That was definitely a first for me! 😆

Children have such incredible imaginations.
Their creativity constantly challenges me to think outside the box and try new things. What might seem unusual to us adults often makes perfect sense in their imaginative world.

So here it is, the latest creation inspired by one of my mini face-painting consultants! ❤️

🌈🎨 The Magic of Face Painting: Building Connections with Little Hearts 🎨🌈

From the moment they sit in the chair, we embark on a little adventure together. Whether they dream of becoming a fierce tiger, a magical fairy, or a fluttering butterfly 🦋, the process involves more than just paint—it’s about listening, encouraging creativity, and making them feel seen.

And sometimes I have the time to switch position, let them embrace their creativity and paint me. I just love inspiring children to follow their imagination.

🎃Halloween is done for another year 🎃
Thank you to everyone who stopped by my face painting chair for a little Halloween magic – your smiles and excitement made all the hard work worth it!

A special mentioned to the Sea Circus Production for delivering a breath taking show; The Tide of Terror. I got the chance to paint some of the performers it was a great learning curve, cant wait for the next Sea Circus show!!!!

Putting an Australian twist to Halloween.
Let me introduce you my version of the Drop Bear....
Designs always looks better on a real face and I cant wait to try this Drop Bear on a kid, with the addition of fake Blood this should terrorize many tourist....

🎃👻Time to get scared......... Are you ready for Halloween????? 👻🎃

I am have been busy getting some new designs ready for the next events.

Cant wait to paint at the Tunnel of Terror in Redlynch on Thursday and on Friday in Port Douglas for the Tide of Terror.
