👋👋👋

I'm preserving my weekends again going into 2027. I really found a sweet spot this year and I feel like I can actually breathe. I hope my 2025 couples didn't notice but I did the ABSOLUTE MOST that year. To the detriment of my family time, employment and mental capacity.

After many tears and my heart sent into a panic if I dared to look too far ahead in my calendar - I changed my booking strategy for 2026. Is it hard to turn down an enquiry? Yes. Has it changed my life? Also yes.

I love being a Marriage Celebrant it still brings me so much joy, scratches that creative side of my brain and is a damn fine reason to pop on a pretty dress. I'm in my 9th year now and I don't see myself ever not finding joy in announcing people as officially wed.

"When Paul saw Julie sitting across from him at The Park House for the second weekend in a row, her beautiful blue eyes drew him in. He promptly introduced himself and oﬀered to buy her a drink. Julie declined. Next he tried asking her to dinner.. another no. He then resorted to just asking for her number. That didn’t
work either, Paul was immediately friend zoned.

Over the following months, they became good friends, until the moment that changed everything: Julie was moving house and needed a ute. She knew Paul had one, so she asked if they could swap cars for the day. Paul agreed - on one condition - he was going to need her phone number. When Julie finally gave it to him, Paul triumphantly yelled across the pub, “I’ve got her number!!”.."

At a local BnB that meant a lot to Jess and Dylan, we gathered. Family, witnessed their ceremony - and everyone else they care deeply about arrived soon after for the reception. Another alternative to the typical wedding day, another reminder to do what feels right.

Bec and I bonded over being fishing wives 🎣 but unfortunately for her she’s allergic to seafood so she doesn’t even get to reap the benefits of a husband who loves fishing..

The most popular date 25/10/25 this year was reserved to celebrate Taylah & Alex at Cobb & Coach Farm in Herons Creek. Surrounded by their absolutely adorable kids, their family and closest friends. We laughed, we cried and I know with certainty they celebrated well 🫶😎
