SJ Racing appreciate that not everyone can or even wants to spend a fortune on a share in a race horse. So to make it easier we have focused on securing quality, sound yearlings at the right price. One of the biggest misconceptions is that the more you pay for a horse the faster it will be able to run. Try telling that to the owners of Better Loosen Up, Takeover Target, Bonecrusher, Kingston Town,

Vo Rogue, Poetic King, Polanski, Shoot Out, Private Steer, Sincero and Tierce. All of these horses were bought for less than $15,000. We’re fortunate enough to have working with us a well-respected bloodstock consultant with decades of experience and an eye for picking through bloodlines and genetics. How many people can say that they have found a Golden Slipper winner? The management of each racehorse is of utmost importance to SJ Racing and each horse is treated like an individual and will be placed in the best possible races to suit it, ensuring the highest possible return for their owners.

We are finally 'off and racing' in Cairns today after the hectic weather up in the north has been hindering training and racing. All runners have been in the same boat and as long as we are fighting out the pointy end it doesn't matter. Good luck to all owners and connections.
