Mr & Mrs Vorias ~ 30.08.2025

Lexi and Tristan pulled off the ultimate surprise for their wedding a “30th birthday party” with twist!

Back in April, they flew to Tasmania, where they filmed and exchanged their heartfelt vows to one another. On the night of the celebration, guests thought they were watching a 30th birthday video… until it transformed into their vow exchange. Everyone believed they were already married, but this wasn’t the case! They surprised everyone and legally tied the knot in front of their closest family and friends. 💍

Being part of this journey is a memory I’ll cherish forever. Officiating the wedding of two of my closest friends has been such an honour (and a whole lot of fun!). From the start with a celebrant proposal, cheeky dinners plotting the surprise, a Tassie trip full of oysters, laughter, and filming their vows, to the secret hens weekend, venue walk-throughs and to the big day it’s been an adventure from start to finish.

Lexi and Tristan, thank you for trusting me with your love story. You’ve outdone yourselves in creating the most incredible heartfelt day unique and personal to you both. Here’s to Mr & Mrs Vorias!!! ❤️

Tips for writing your vows! 📝

❤️ Speak from the heart, say what truly matters to you, not what you think people want to hear.
✍️ Share your story, include moments that shaped your relationship.
🤝 Make real promises, talk about what you will do in your marriage, not just how you feel today.
🕰️ Keep it concise, aim for 1–2 minutes so it’s memorable but meaningful.
🎭 Balance humor & sincerity, a laugh is great, but anchor it with genuine emotion.
💬 Practice out loud, this helps to fix phrasing and calm your nerves.
🤍 Be you, your vows should sound like you’re talking to your partner, not giving a speech.
