You could say that the universe was working against Liz and Nate leading up to their wedding day. They were victims of the COVID lockdowns and their wedding day had to be postponed. Then when their day finally arrived, it teemed with rain and their plans for a lakeside ceremony were quashed. Lucky for them there was an indoor alternative. ⁠

Have you ever thought about successful people in this world? Opportunities just seem to happen for them! Doors open – yadah yadah! They always seem to be in the right place at the right time. Everything falls into place for them - they have the perfect job, the dream life, house, partners and they seem to be doing exactly what they set out to do- PERFECTLY.

A closer look at these people shows it was not that just they got lucky. It was not that things just fell at their feet. They actively seek and create opportunities because they have the following inherent qualities. They:
a) Understand who they are
b) Believe in what they have to offer
c) Are happy to step out of their comfort zone
d) Keep an open mind
e) Create good karma
f) Are decisive

Fact is, a lot of successful people have experienced knock-backs, hardship and trauma in their lives. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is what they learnt from these experiences. This often leads them to look for or create opportunities with greater energy and ability.

The big tip about creating opportunities is to be patient, positive and enjoy the process.

Brandon and Laura met by chance when they were booked next to each other on a plane flight to an athletics competition in Japan. ⁠

Brandon thought he would impress Laura straight up by turning on the overhead reading light.....with his foot!! She thought it was super weird but cool. ⁠

And we all thought he was super cool and flexible at the Olympics this year too!! ⁠
