Hi! My name is Amelia and I am the person behind WeGather Events. I started this journey after planning my own wedding. I was never one of those girls that had been planning their wedding day since they were 6. It began the night that Luke proposed. He got down on one knee surrounded by candles with the ring in his hand, and me shakily asking ‘what are you doing?’ about twenty times to which I got ‘what do you think?’ - clearly I said yes!
I knew I wanted to have our wedding on my family’s farm and that the only thing that mattered (apart from us both saying I Do), was that everyone enjoy the massive party we were throwing! So after planning the whole thing, I knew it's what I wanted to do for others, and I have completed a Diploma of Wedding Planning, Styling and Design.
To get a feel for what I am like, I’m the person who cracks a joke at their own expense to make others laugh, I’m super passionate about any project I take on, I love with my whole heart, I am loyal and trusting until that bridge is broken, and I like to take the direct approach! I’m sure others have their own opinions, and that’s ok.
All this leads me to you. At WeGather Events, I want to help you gather those that are important you, and help you celebrate your event with your favourite people. I can help with not only with the planning and organisation of your special event - vendors and suppliers - but it also includes styling, helping with budgets and providing a detailed timeline for your day. I want to take the stress and time restraints out of your hands so you can enjoy every moment of your dream day.
