A little peek behind the lens… 🎥📸

For the June 2026 cover of the Roleystone Courier, I mounted a DJI 360 camera directly onto my main camera to capture some behind-the-scenes footage while creating this beautiful family portrait for the cover shoot.

Yesterday I had the privilege of capturing a performance by the Classic Sounds Orchestra Association inside the beautiful Armadale Chapel at Minnawarra Park. As the afternoon light streamed through the window, this quiet moment of focus and music felt too special not to keep for myself. Sometimes the atmosphere, the sound, and the light all come together perfectly.

While photographing this beautiful Australian shelduck, I had my DJI 360 sitting on top of the camera capturing the whole moment. I love being able to show the process and the final image together — a little peek into how these wildlife photos come to life in the field.
