Hey all,
Just wanted to make a post as Ive had a few people think I am more on the expensive side verses me thinking Im on the cheaper side for what I offer.
I understand that this style of catering isn’t for everyone and thats is so ok!!
I can absolutely make a “cheaper” board or table spread but I Dont want to serve up the cheap and nasty produce to do so. I love to use quality and premium products to create a beautiful flavour.
My boards and tables I actually don’t charge anywhere near enough to get myself some funds for my effort and time. Its not just about getting to items and putting them in a box/on a table. Its so much more than that. The working out my shopping list, going to the shops and picking out the freshest products to use, washing the fruits and veggies, prepping (pending on size and variety can range anywhere from 2 hours to 10 hours), driving to location, setting up then coming back to pack up.
Prices of fuel and groceries are on the rise so my prices need to cater for these ever changing events also.
I am a mum of 4 beautiful children who are 7, 5, 16 months and 5 weeks old.
I do this as its something I love to do and it gets me some “me” time. Im not doing it to make a killing from it but id absolutely love to make this a full time thing as I currently do not work otherwise 🙂
