💧 Science Club is diving into all things water this term!

Our major project is building an aquaponics setup to grow strawberries using nutrients from fish waste—learning how water, plants and aquatic life can work together to create a miniature ecosystem.

This week, our young scientists explored survival science and learned how to filter dirty water using simple materials and techniques. Plenty of experimenting, problem-solving and very questionable-looking water along the way! 😂

These photos capture another busy weekend, but behind them are years of late nights, big risks, missed family time and countless moments where we’ve wondered whether we could actually pull this off.

Our children have grown up alongside this business. They’ve watched us turn empty rooms into places filled with learning, laughter and opportunity. They’ve helped pack bags, test experiments, move furniture and patiently shared their parents with the hundreds of children and families who now walk through our doors.

This isn’t just a business to us. It’s our family’s life, and it’s something we’ve built together with an incredible team and a community that continues to believe in us.

Every booking, enrolment, referral, comment and share genuinely matters. It helps us employ local people, create new services and give more Townsville children a place where they feel supported, understood and excited to belong.

This week has been absolute madness!

We've had science club, a new wall built to separate the two areas.

We're putting the finishing touches on this weekend's STEM Science Party, and we couldn't resist sharing a glimpse of what's waiting for our birthday scientist and their friends! 🧪✨

Every child will head home with their own Science Mission Kit, packed with hands-on experiments they can continue exploring at home.

Inside they'll discover exciting science activities including:

Our goal is that the fun doesn't stop when the party ends. We want every child to leave feeling inspired, curious and excited to keep experimenting long after the birthday celebrations are over.

One of our team’s favourite event activities? Liquid nitrogen rockets.

They’re loud, fast and always get a huge reaction from the kids.

There’s something pretty special about watching a room go completely quiet while everyone waits… followed by the rocket launching and the whole group erupting.

It’s hands-on science, big reactions and a great way to get children curious about pressure, temperature and how gases behave.

Definitely one of the activities our team never gets tired of running.

The early bird gets the worm!

2 soft play parties in the community and a birthday party in the event space, the silly season is upon us.

If we've been quiet lately, we had to slow things down event wise due to growth in other areas of the company, we are back with a vengance from this week onwards!
