This Good-Vibe-Booster is a personal favourite of mine: the endless benefits of GARDENING! 🪷🧑🌾🌿
My garden is not only my pride and joy—I started it from absolute zero!—but also my sacred space and haven. 🦄🥰✨
The moment I step into it, I find an instant sense of peace, quiet, and purpose.
It deeply connects me both with my ancestral roots, AND with nature. 🌈
Creatively, my garden really inspires me, and constantly reconnects me of my own values & beliefs:
* As I pull out the weeds, I also clear my own head of harmful worries, or thoughts that don’t serve my greater purpose. 🧠
* My garden is constantly changing, reminding me to stay flexible, innovative, and IN THE FLOW. 🌊
* It makes me become entirely present in the moment🧘♀️ - ALL whilst daydreaming!.. 🤷♀️😶🌫️
* It embodies my own metaphor about “planting seeds” in my mind: when I have a creative idea or need to come up with a solution, I don’t force it. Instead, I plant the seed in my mind, staying aware of it in my subconscious, and nurturing it to grow at its own pace. 🌱
(It’s therefore no coincidence that it is the space where I come up with some of my best creative ideas and solutions, whether I’m tending to it or just enjoying it at different times of the day.💡)🪄✨🦄
With its many magical nooks, my garden IS a place of escape - but ALSO a space of deep presence.
I meditate there first thing in the morning and last thing at night, contemplate and even work there during the day. 👩💻
As night falls, it becomes the perfect spot for my signature “stargazing meditations.” 💫🥰
I could go on and on about my garden, but if you’re still not convinced - you don’t have to take my word for it! 🤷♀️
Below is some more info about the research into the many benefits of gardening! ⤵️
Research shows that Gardening…👩🌾
• Boosts Mood and Combats Depression: All that digging and being in the sun can help your body make more serotonin, and watching things grow gives you a real sense of accomplishment.
• Gives You a Sense of Purpose: Caring for something gives you a routine and a reason to get up and get going, especially on days when you don't feel like it (hello, endorphins!).
• Reduces Stress and Anxiety: It's a great way to be mindful and focus on the moment, which helps you clear your mind of your worries.
• Improves Attention and Focus: Getting your hands dirty with a real, tangible task can help sharpen your attention and concentration.
