As Autumn finally feels like autumn 🍂 I get nostalgic for this place….. this is where I grew up and where I loved to visit, especially in Autumn. There was a whole valley full of camellias and every time I smell that unique fragrance I am reminded of childhood and making fairy houses and beds from the flower petals.

Crazy plant and flower folk run strong through both my maternal and paternal sides.

My Dad, Bob Cherry, is 80 now and still breeding new varieties of plants and creating amazing stone walls and various interesting constructions in Tasmania. He sold Paradise Plants 10 years ago to enjoy cooler weather and richer soil.

I made up a last minute request at 12md yesterday with what I had left and then I officially sold out 😍 woo hoo!!!

Super excited that every single flower and foliage stem that went into our Mother’s Day bouquets was grown right here in the Hunter Valley and sourced direct from the growers.
