💍 Weekday Wedding – Vendors often have more availability and flexibility Mon–Thurs and therefor might offer more competitive prices

✍️ Legals-Only Ceremony – Short, sweet, and all about making it official. Perfect if you want to surprise friends and family with a celebration down the track.

🌸 Micro Wedding – Intimate and meaningful, with only your nearest and dearest. Less stress and so much more connection.

Here’s my quick-glance guide for when to book each one:
✨ Your dream vendor – ASAP
🏛️ Venue – 12–18 months out
📸 Photo/video – 12 months out
🎤 Celebrant – ideally 12 months out (especially for Fridays & Saturdays!)

The earlier you book, the more relaxed and fun your wedding planning will be.

Somebody recently asked me what I love about being a Marriage Celebrant which got me thinking...

It’s not just about the ceremony.
It’s about them - the way they look at each other when they think no one’s watching.
The tearful smiles in the quietest moments.
The whispered promises carried softly on the breeze.

It’s the nervous laughter, the deep breaths, the gentle hand squeezes just before “I do.”
It’s the unfiltered, imperfect, magical kind of love that fills every space between two hearts choosing each other - again and again.

This is why I do what I do.
To stand witness to love in its rawest, most honest form.
To hold space for stories, connections, and moments that turn into lifelong memories.

I’m back from an amazing conference with like minded celebrants, and what a fantastic few days it was! Such a joy to connect with fellow celebrants from all over Australia. Strengthening friendships, making new ones, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
We heard from some incredible speakers who delivered engaging and relevant topics that left us feeling inspired and re-energised.
