AI isn't coming for all things.

It can write the summaries, save you hours and keep every detail straight (and, yes - we think Claude is amazing). What it can't do is sit across from a farmer and hear what they just solved on-farm. It can't give you goosebumps the way someone sharing their real ups and downs can. And it can't know your audience the way someone in the thick of it does.

Yes, we love AI. We also know nothing replaces real connection — and in agriculture, that matters more than ever.

We're so excited to share that Clare Carter, who joined us early this year, has now come on board full time at GRO! So we thought it was worth a re-introduction to our followers.

When it comes to a holiday she's torn between Europe and Yamba, and if you're visiting Tamworth her tip is dinner, drinks and a hit of tennis at — never misses. Her fave GRO project so far? Scone Race Club Fashions, so much fun. And her karaoke go-to, always Bette Davis Eyes 🎤

What have a I learnt in the past 6 months on maternity leave? (hold down for 2x to make me speak even quicker 😂)

✅ Money is scarce but cash is king. Make a brilliant program. Engage the right audience. Align it with sponsors - and meet them where they’re at- give them love and deliver well.
✅ AEO > SEO . Media landscape is changing, spend is needed. Citations on Answer Engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini etc) are based on trust through authoritative and trusted media channels. PR needs to hit the mark.
✅ Shake the trees. Stick with those loyal clients, deliver well, be reliable.
✅ Who you work with makes it possible. Thank you Hol, Luce, Clare, Kayla, Andy, Hayley, Iz and everyone who has supported me and GRO for the past 7 months ❤️

A paddock is just a paddock until you get the right people standing in it.

That's the job. We plan and run agricultural events end to end — program, promotion, sponsors, registrations, run sheet, the day itself — so the people who need to see your work actually turn up to see it.

We come from ag. Grains, mixed farming, beef, dairy — it's the background of our team, not a market we decided to service. 92% of our clients work the land, and we know how the people in it think, what earns their time, and what gets them through the gate.

Field days, festivals, shows, conferences. Over the last eight years we've helped organisations authentically engage tens of thousands of people in agriculture. Let us do it with yours.

Today we had a little farewell lunch for our gorgeous Lucy at one of our local faves ! 🥹

As some may already know, our Luce finishes this Friday with GRO to take off on an adventure - moving to London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ! Whilst we are so excited for Luce (and are wishing we could go too), we are also so so sad 😭😭😭😂😂.

Luce has been our dream girl to work with. No detail ever missed, quietly considered, always one step ahead, organised, fun, quietly hilarious and just a beautiful human to be around.

We wish you every success for the future, Luce. You will forever have a space in the GRO team and you will be sorely missed!

Now PLEASE, change your mind before Friday 😂🥹🥹🥹!
