The smell in the kitchen, actually in the building as we baked over 400 of these beauties was something else. There’s something about eating these South African style hammentashen that is so nostalgic, with its delicious yeast dough filled with sweet cream cheese or mon. There was almost a bun fight (pardon the pun) to order the last few 😊
