This Ferragosto, we are collaborating with the City of Canada Bay to curate FerraCucina, a six-session culinary program honouring our Italian roots through family favourites, signature dishes, live cooking, expert techniques and special guests.

Navarra Venues x Ferragosto 🇮🇹✨

Ferragosto was coming together, and City of Canada Bay reached out to us with an idea to collaborate that immediately felt close to home — would we be interested in reimagining and programming FerraCucina, the festival’s live culinary stage?

It didn’t take long for us to say yes.

Ferragosto reflects the Italian heritage, traditions and sense of community that have shaped Navarra Venues for more than 50 years, so being invited to contribute in such a hands-on way felt both meaningful and personal.

From that first conversation, we began shaping what became The Italian Craft of Celebration — a concept inspired by the care, skill and collaboration that sits behind every event we create, usually behind the scenes.

Collaboration is central to the program, and we’re proud to be joined by food content creator Anna Simon, Calabria Family Wines, Sandhurst and Radio Italiana — partners who share our passion for Italian traditions, hospitality and bringing people together.

We’re honoured to have been invited by the City of Canada Bay to contribute to a festival that celebrates our roots in such a genuine way, and we look forward to sharing the people, passion and craft behind Navarra Venues with the Ferragosto community.

When the food stations meet the bay 🌅🔥

There are moments at Le Montage that feel made for the camera.

Our drive-through became the perfect setting for live food stations at dusk of night — from freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, caviar and sashimi, to truffle pasta, mini lasagne, carved San Daniele prosciutto and open-flame chorizo.

Every station brought movement, flavour and energy to the evening, creating a guest experience that felt generous, interactive and unforgettable.
