Nadia Duran grew her company from a small desk in her home, to multiple warehouses in Au

stralia, designing and executing hundreds of weddings, corporate affairs, charity galas and intimate dinners around the world. Nadia Duran has built partnerships with brands such as Four Seasons, Shangri-La, Rockpool Hospitality group, Sydney Opera House and more carrying dozens of exclusive linens, bringing in floral from all of the world and working with a team devoted to constructing highly coveted bespoke pieces. Nadia Duran plans, designs, styles and produces celebrity and international events all over the world, including Royal weddings in Qatar, Fiji, Italy, Greece, Serbia, Japan, UK, Mexico, among other exotic destinations. In addition to her international experience, Nadia consults restaurateurs and hospitality groups on interior design, to achieve the look and feel of their patron. Multiple industry awards have recognized Nadia Duran experience. In June 2018, Events by Nadia received her 3rd Australian National Award by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy as the best Wedding Decorative Hire Business in Australia. In June 2019, Nadia Duran was awarded by The Australian Bridal Industry Academy as “The Designer of the Decade”.

FIFA World Cup Mexico 2026 🇲🇽⚽

Some experiences are simply priceless.

Watching a FIFA World Cup match at the iconic Estadio Azteca, alongside my son, cheering on Mexico, is a memory we will treasure forever.

So many bucket-list moments in one incredible day.

Here are some of my favourite highlights:

1. Novak and I, proudly supporting Mexico.
2. The first goal… I completely lost it!
3. Goal number 2… Well done, Mexico!
4. Then, just minutes before full-time, the third goal sealed an unforgettable night.
5. A special moment as the entire stadium celebrated Memo Ochoa during his farewell appearance.
6. Watching the giant Mexican flag make its way across the stadium was unforgettable.
7. The players walking onto the pitch… what an atmosphere.
8. So proud to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with my son.
9. Hearing the Mexican National Anthem while the flag flew high gave me goosebumps.
10. Even before kick-off, the entire stadium was one huge celebration.
11. A packed Estadio Azteca with more than 80,000 passionate fans creating an atmosphere we will never forget.
12. Novak’s face said it all. One of those “I can’t believe I’m actually here” moments as he took in the size and history of this incredible stadium.
13. And outside the stadium… the passion of Mexican football fans was already on full display. The celebrations started long before the match kicked off.

What a night. What a privilege to experience it with my son. ❤️🇲🇽⚽

Some evenings become more than a dinner—they become a celebration of creativity, friendship, and meaningful moments.

For Preston Bailey’s farewell gala dinner in Sydney, we created Emerald Zen, a design inspired by the harmony between Japanese minimalism and refined luxury. Delicate Japanese florals, sculptural textures, rich emerald tones, and thoughtful details were layered throughout the design to create a sense of elegance, balance, and serenity.

Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the beauty found in restoration and imperfection, our charger plates served as a subtle reminder that life’s most beautiful stories are often shaped by the journeys that transform us.

Hosted at the iconic Nobu Sydney within Crown Sydney, the evening was made even more special as we also celebrated the birthday of Preston’s husband, Theo, making it a double celebration filled with gratitude, connection, and joy.

A truly memorable evening honouring one of the world’s most influential event designers and the people he loves most.

Creating a destination wedding is never just about the final design…. It is the 2:00 am starts, the tropical heat, the last-minute changes, the teamwork, the flowers arriving, the sound checks, the candlelight, and the emotion behind every single detail.

And somehow… watching it all come to life in Bali made every second worth it.
