Let Life Sparkle Events & Hire has been bringing unforgettable events to life for 11 years (technically 12, if you count the garage days 😉).
Founder Demetra – a qualified architect and interior designer, had a vision. While working full-time in architecture, she noticed a gap in the events industry – at the time, no one was offering beautiful, design-forward hire pieces that actually elevated a space. Most hire options were either outdated, generic, or purely functional, lacking the charm and character that make an event truly memorable.
Demetra saw an opportunity: what if clients could access thoughtfully curated, aesthetically cohesive hire pieces.
So, she began sourcing vintage furniture, painting, and repurposing each piece by hand in her parents’ garage. She would also draw and design her own pieces and build them with the help of her father, Chris. And that's where it all started - with events for family and friends. Isn’t that where it all begins?
She quickly outgrew her parents' garage and storage space and moved into a small warehouse.
LLS grew at a rapid pace after that – from a 160sqm warehouse with a team of four squeezed into a cosy little office, to a large-scale HQ with a full production warehouse, a dedicated 100sqm showroom and separate 100sqm office space.
That move was the start of big things – fuelled by sacrifice, determination, and relentless growth.
