My 50th year of life has been one of the most challenging I’ve ever experienced. It just goes to show that none of us ever really know what’s around the corner. Life has a funny way of humbling us, teaching us, and asking us to grow in ways we never expected.
Through it all, I’ve also experienced incredible love from my family, beautiful friends, and this amazing community. I’m so grateful for every message, hug, conversation and moment of support.
For now, I’m going to take a little step back and spend some time recalibrating. I’m choosing to focus on my family, my friendships, my wellbeing, and my own healing.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply the beginning of a new chapter…or maybe a whole new book!
Life will always throw curve balls, but I’ve learnt that growth usually lives on the other side of the hard stuff. We won’t always get it right, we’re human after all, but we must keep moving forward.
I’ve always wanted to squeeze every drop out of this beautiful life, even if it drives the people around me a little crazy 😂 I’ve got to have the best stories to tell my grandchildren, right!
One thing I know for sure…
Music will always be my healer.
I’ll never stop loving it, and I’ll never stop creating moments through it. I’ll still be around, just moving a little differently for a while.
