I have two things to tell you today:
1) I’m stoked to announce I’m supporting the one and only this coming Jan. Thank you Peggy Gou fo the invite!
2) Tanya and I were approached by a stranger while traipsing around oxford st who said “no offence but you look like you’re in the matrix” while wearing these very outfits.

I’m not going to tell you whether you should take the red or blue pill but hope to see you in late Jan for a dance xx

What an absolute treat to play the Wildlands stage at the iconic , big thanks to the Strawberry crew for the opportunity to play the mainstage, a Gadigal turned Larrakia local housed between some fab international artists, what an honour.

It all still feels a little surreal looking back at these. Not long before my set I was tearing up back stage/freaking out/checking BoM every five minutes after seeing that Cyclone Fina had been upgraded to a category 3 (it was the biggest cyclone since Tracy) and hearing how terrified some of our friends were back home.

I’m so glad noone was injured, sending big love to everyone who’s still dealing with the aftermath and those who’ve been displaced because of it.

So much thanks goes to my wonderful support crew who helped ground me backstage, and of course to everyone who was there for your dancing and energy, that exchange that got me back in the zone.

I don’t know if you knew this but changing my title from muscle mommy to dj capital gains was genius because the latter is a double entendre! Ie. Both referencing muscle gains (a nod to muscle mommy) AND capital gains poking fun at the ways the dark side of the music industry where artists are seen solely as an asset rather than a fully realised human.

Anyways, here’s where I’ll be skillfully twisting k***s this OCT/NOV because I am the music alchemist.

Tomorrow night we mean business at ! Dj Capital Gains aka me is clocking in for a 4 hour shift (9pm-1am). The decks are my desk, the club is my office, my usb bag is my briefcase 💼
