Lavender Marriage is the passion project of two q***r POC who grew up in spaces where q***rness was shameful. Working at the Imperial, we found a community full of love and support, brought together by the incredible performers that graced the stages each night. We wanted to combine our love for performance and and pride in finding our chosen family, which is how Lavender Marriage came about!

Our first performance was a donation for our close friend’s top surgery fundraiser. Since then we have gone on to perform at many q***r community events like Birdcage, Junipero, BiCONIC, Fair Day and the inaugural Ruby’s Rumble Battle Royale. We are excited to keep growing as dancers alongside our community, giving you the high energy, leather-clad performance of your q***r dreams.

By inviting audiences to slip into the liminal space between realms, Dia presents a uniquely spiced take on neo-burlesque, where boundaries of tradition and modernity blur, and new rituals emerge.
