What happens to your makeup when the lights and filters get turned off? 💡 It's a question every client should ask.

Random Rant Time: As a client, it is incredibly difficult to know if the makeup looks you see online are real or completely altered, over-lit, or now even AI-generated 🤯 It’s a landscape of smoke and mirrors, and it can be so misleading.

For me, doing weddings and events, my one non-negotiable is that your makeup must look good in person (in the real world!), without needing filters, Photoshop, or blinding yellow lights.

It’s sad to see makeup go off-road on social media to the land of the uber-filtered and overdone. I'm hitting the "Not Interested" button on those! 🚫

And then there's sweet Isobel 💝 No filters, no Photoshop, no blown-out lighting. Just beautiful, real-life makeup for her school formal. This is the type of makeup I love creating.

P.S. After a massive week of formals, lashes, and weddings, I’m now officially in recovery mode! 🍕💤📺

Bonnie was glowing this weekend ✨ A stunning day at

I love this lip colour on her, it reads differently on everyone I use it on. On her, it was a rosy berry, and was giving those romantic Bridgerton a lil bit vintage but still modern vibes.

Her auburn hair and eyes pop with these tones. It's so important to me that we respect your natural colourings to make you stand out, and not the makeup 👩🏻‍🎨

What's trending and what suits us are often two different things, I always try and find that sweet spot so you look and feel authentically you.
