Why a Dragonfly?
As I began the journey of creating Take Two Weddings, I found myself drawn to the dragonfly.
Not just because it’s beautiful, but because of what it represents.
The dragonfly is a symbol of transformation, resilience, growth and new beginnings. It reminds us that life isn’t always a straight path. Sometimes the most meaningful chapters come after we’ve experienced change, challenges and unexpected turns.
And isn’t marriage a little like that?
Whether it’s a first marriage, a second chance at love, a vow renewal or a celebration of a relationship that has grown stronger over time, marriage is about choosing connection. Choosing to grow together. Choosing each other through every season of life.
The dragonfly spends much of its life unseen beneath the water before emerging into something extraordinary. In many ways, love is similar. It evolves, deepens and transforms us into better versions of ourselves.
That’s why the dragonfly felt like the perfect symbol for Take Two.
A celebration of love, renewal, wisdom and the beautiful courage it takes to begin a new chapter.
Because sometimes the most beautiful love stories aren’t the first chapter…
They’re the ones that come next.
✨ If you’re planning a wedding, vow renewal or celebrating a new chapter together, I’d love to hear your story.
