Spider chrysanthemum.
Dignified in form, ornate in detail.
Radiant petals fall with quiet grace.
To show the whole flower,
or let one beautiful detail speak.

Strong, twisted textures in this tree trunk.
It’s so intense, it almost makes you want to squint.
Loving the contrast of the charming autumn fruit and that deep, impressive red.

Autumn holds a color
that words almost fail to touch
in Japanese, we call it shibui.

Muted, yet deeply alive.
Like something gently aged by time,
quietly carrying its story.

Not loud, not bright—
but the kind of beauty
that lingers in your eyes a little longer.

Hidden in winter 冬にひそむもの

Winter may seem still, bare, or even asleep,
but within that quiet lies the beginning of something new.
Beneath the surface, life is gently preparing.A seed waits.
A bud forms. This is a time before awakening a silent moment where potential rests, unseen but full of promise.

It is such a joy and an honor to share this experience with six ikebana artists and our dear guests.

We observe emotions and follow the movements of the heart slowly and carefully,
letting them sink in—
like the comforting warmth of cocoa on a cold day.

Wrapped in the joy of sharing this moment with you all,
thank you, as part of experience.
