What is a design proposal?

Unless you’re a creative it can be difficult to visualise what all the elements will look like on your wedding day.

Each of my couples receive a design proposal once they have booked in. The design proposal is created to assist you in visualising all the elements together. This service gives you full confidence in seeing everything is going to look magic on the big day!

How we practise sustainability at Pollen and Patina.

✅ Using the same vessels and ceramics for all our clients.

✅ Sourcing locally grown or Australian grown flowers where possible.

Why?
Floral foam is effectively a type of single-use plastic, and it won’t break down or degrade anytime soon.  It also crumbles very easily and, when it does, releases micro-plastics into the environment.  Even the alternatives take a lot of processing, so from a sustainability perspective, there is no better way than doing away with it altogether and going foam-free!

There are SO many other options for foam-free arrangements – flower frogs, pebbles, moss (sustainably sourced, of course) wrapped in chicken wire like I’ve used in the above clip.

Ask your florist how they’re acting sustainably.

I’m beginning to wind up the wedding season and started to look back at everything that’s been created and the incredible couples I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

Holy heck, what a stellar season it’s been.
My creative juices were flowing, I was spoiled with colour, with design confidence, the sweetest couples and incredible vendors.
