Hello friend!Nice to see you on here. I am Céline, the owner and director of G+C Events and Styling. Thank you for your follow and/or read. I appreciate your time and support.
G+C Events to me is so many things. It challenges me, pushes me to my limits at times, teaches me new skills every day but its is mostly a creative outlet.
I find creativity in every part of my business, even in accounting! That might sound counterintuitive but it's really true. I wear every hat in my business - creative director, accountant, marketing manager, sales consultant and the list goes on. I enjoy it all. I look at my accounting books and I do a little happy dance.
I have to really challenge myself to understand it all, get creative with numbers and set the best possible financial goals for G+C. How do we grow, where do we make the most profit, what isn't working, etc. Then I wear my creative director hat and I get to plan and style the most gorgeous events for my clients! I mean, gah! What is not to love about that?!
Having your own business definitely has its challenges, but overall it has been one of the best things I've ever done in my life. G+C may not be a forever thing, but nobody can take away from me everything that I have learned over the years, the friendships I have built in the events industry and the gorgeous clients I have had the pleasure to meet.
What a lucky duck I am.
