Do you enjoy helping in the kitchen, serving food, making people feel welcome, or just being part of a busy community event?

We’re looking for volunteers to help with the Burnie Show catering team.

Whether you’re confident with food prep, good at keeping things organised, or simply willing to lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you.

Come and help behind the scenes, then enjoy the show atmosphere while you’re there.

Volunteer roles need to be arranged before show day, so please get in touch early.

HISTORY ON WHEELS AT THE BURNIE SHOW 🚙

ATTRACTION ANNOUNCEMENT: Defence Transport Heritage Tasmania is coming to the Burnie Show & Agri-Expo with a historical military vehicle display.

Visitors will be able to see vehicles and display items up close, meet people passionate about transport history, and learn more about the stories behind the machinery.

It’s a great stop for vehicle lovers, history buffs, and curious kids.

CAN YOU LEND A HAND ON SHOW DAY? 🤝🎪

The Burnie Show & Agri-Expo is run by volunteers - and on show week, every extra pair of hands makes a difference.

We’re looking for people who can help with practical jobs such as setting up, checking areas are ready, helping direct vendors and visitors, moving supplies, tidying spaces and being part of the team that keeps the show running smoothly.

You don’t need to know everything.
You don’t need to do everything.
You just need to be willing to help with something.

Volunteer roles need to be arranged before show day, so please get in touch early.

THE GIANT SANDPIT IS BACK! 🏖️

Great news for little show-goers - our giant sandpit is coming back to the Burnie Show & Agri-Expo! It’s a great spot for kids to dig, build and play... and parents to take a break between all the show day action.

This was a huge hit with the kids last year, and we’re excited to bring it back again thanks to the generous sponsorship of Tas Mulch.

CAN YOU HELP? We would also greatly appreciate donations of clean, sturdy sandpit toys in good condition. If you have buckets, spades, trucks or sand toys your family no longer needs, they would be very welcome.

Get ready for some mini motors and big fun - RC Madness tas will be at the Burnie Show & Agri-Expo with a remote-control vehicle experience for visitors to enjoy.

Take the controls and test your skills, or watch the action from the side-lines.
Please note: We incorrectly advertised this as a free attraction. This will be a paid experience. Apologies for the error.

This is one for the kids… the BIG kids and anyone who loves a bit of fast-paced fun!
