Throw back to my baking time 😊 … a suit cake for rhe 15th birthday of my oldest one. Homemade modeling chocolate knedded from lindt salted caramel and rice syrup, cream, caramel, orange cointreau marmelade, edible gold … as with all my creations, all homemade and natural … i loved every minute of this challenge… not exactly wearable art but definetelly edible😊🦋

Style your floral handbag …
In soft shades of pink and purple, nestled amongst silver-toned leaves of yellow buttons, emu bush and morning mist, you’ll find a variety of blooms including paper daisies, salvia, kangaroo paw, rice flower, celosia, rose, cow paisley, teatree and more.

The outer shell has been hand-stitched from recycled cardboard and filled with dry grevillea and banksia clippings to support the delicate stems. Around two hundred velvety lamb’s ears have been carefully pressed, arranged and attached using a homemade Japanese rice paste.

The handle is made from a bamboo ring, wrapped in a rope I twisted from foraged meadow grass blades.

To finish, the bag is decorated with a cluster of leaf-decoupage brooches featuring dried leucadendron blooms. The smallest brooch can even be removed by carefully sliding off and worn as a lapel pin if you wish.

Over time, the colours of the blooms will naturally shift and mellow, with golden tones emerging and hues gently adapting to your surroundings. This is one of the many special qualities of all-natural dried flowers.

You can admire your handbag in a few different ways:
