Dreamy from every point of view

Another early morning drone panorama, this time of the 'coloured sands' at Rainbow Beach, Queensland looking toward Fraser Island in the far distance. The cloud layer was quite spectacular, its wave-like shape is exaggerated in the image by distortion in the panorama by the drone's wide angle lens.

Wind and rain erosion has sculpted these sand cliffs over thousands of years and iron-rich minerals have stained them with an array of yellow, brown and even reddish hues. The Carlo Sand Blow is at the left of frame.
