For Greg’s big 6-0, we went all out with this heavy metal masterpiece! 🤘

Nurses are the heart of healthcare ❤️✈️
When my customer sent me cake description:
"50th birthday, but a kid at heart—something a bit camp and fun! He’s a nurse for the Flying Doctors and loves all things nursing and aviation"
… I instantly knew this cake had to be something truly special. 💡

After a few back-and-forth design chats, we landed on this two-tier aviation-inspired masterpiece. Decorated with the everyday tools of a nurse’s trade, topped with a little plane looping through fluffy clouds ☁️, keeping the colour palette clean allowed the structure and story to shine and finished with a heartbeat line to tie it all together.

Yes, it took a trip to Bunnings to find the perfect rod (and bend it just right!)—but it was worth every moment.

Because not all superheroes wear capes—some save lives and heal hearts 💙.
Happy Birthday to this incredible nurse and pilot-at-heart. We’re so grateful for all the unsung heroes out there making the world a better place.
