Clare and Tim got married in the most stunning location (at Clare’s parent’s property), they even had a view of the bluff from atop a hill at their ceremony! 😱

About yesterday...✨

I’ll be honest. When I woke up yesterday I wasn’t really “feeling it”.

It was my first full-day wedding since COVID hit, Mike was away for the weekend, the boys were driving me bonkers while I was trying to get gear ready for shooting, and to top it off - my bladder decided to throw a tantrum and I either had (have) a UTI, urinary retention, or MS (according to Google 👍🏼). YAY.

So shooting a wedding sounded exhausting and like the last thing I should be doing!

But as soon as I walked through the door of Clare’s parents home my pre-exhaustion and anxiety flew out of my body, and the day did a u-turn and I almost couldn’t wipe the smile off my face (minus the frequent toilet breaks to attempt to do a proper wee! *laughs nervously* I should see a doctor).

Tim and Clare dealt with gale-force winds and burnt bridesmaid dresses like it was nobody’s business. They inspired me to pluck myself up and press on. Or as Clare would put it - “F*ck it - let’s do it!”

With wedding shoots on hold for a while I’ve been getting nostalgic and looking through weddings from years past! So you...

Celebrating the fact that our internet is finally connected seems pretty lame (and very First-World-problem-y) when I think about all that’s happening in the world right now...but internet means I can send off client galleries to wonderful people like these two 🙌🏼 and happy photos/memories is one little thing I can do to keep people’s spirits up!
