Vicki was laying in bed late at night, navigating the chaos that is online dating, one questionable profile at a time. But when Shannon’s picture flashed up on her screen, she was stopped in her tracks and she immediately swiped right.

Forget perfectly curated profiles and witty bios, apparently nothing will catch our bride’s attention faster than this tall, strong, country bogan over here standing in front of a ute.

Xavier & Annie

Being the romantic he is Xavier excitedly suggested to Annie they go to Gami Chicken for their first date.

Let me set the scene for you Gami Chicken is a Korean deep-fried chicken and beer house, it’s busy and noisy. It was a place he frequented with his mates after a few beers, on the regular- but it’s probably not the romantic place you’d imagine you’d take a first date.

And when he got there he proceeded to order like he would for 2 grown men. When 2 gigantic plates piled high with deep-fried boneless chicken arrived at the table he challenged Annie that they couldn’t eat the lot. And well Annie will never back down from a challenge.

They laughed and chatted their way through the evening super comfortable with each other, and finishing both the plates of chicken!

Despite the fact they both went home from that date feeling unwell from the chicken, there were other feelings brewing that night. The big one being that they both felt they might have just
found their ‘person’. And it was only a few weeks later they became official.
Loved this gorgeous wedding on a private property overlooking Swan Bay.

It’s so easy to get caught up thinking you need to build your wedding day around making everyone happy. But let me tell you- the best weddings are the ones where the couple create a day that’s undeniably them.

Eamon & Hannah had the most phenomenal reception packed with everything them. A hilarious quiz with prizes, a lolly station with treats that reflected their respective cultures, a cake cutting with a family sword & beautiful photo albums of them as bubbas for people to pour through. It was such a joy to MC for them.
