๐ฟ GREAT NEWS FOR PALMYRA FARMERS MARKET! ๐ฟ
We are incredibly grateful to Katy Mayor Melville and the City of Melville for their time, support and willingness to work with us over the past few days to find a way forward for Palmyra Farmers Market.
Following further discussions, we are very happy to announce that our trial at Geo Thompson Park will continue for the next three Sundays, through to 27 September. ๐
To help address concerns raised during the trial, our market hours will now change to:
โฐ 8.30am โ 12.30pm - Sun 13 Sept, 20 Sept, 27 Sept

We recognise that the City has a responsibility to consider both community benefit and neighbourhood amenity. We are genuinely keen to work together, keep listening to all perspectives and do everything we can to make the market work positively for both the local community and our surrounding neighbours.
These next three weeks are incredibly important for the future of the market at this location. We will be working closely with the City on additional management measures and noise monitoring as we work towards hopefully securing a long-term future for Palmyra Farmers Market at Geo Thompson Park.
A huge THANK YOU to Mayor Katy Mair, the City of Melville, our local representatives and everyone involved behind the scenes for listening to the community and working with us towards a temporary solution that allows the trial to continue.
And to the Palmyra community โ thank you for showing just how much your local farmers market means to you, your support has been incredible. ๐
