WE NEED YOUR HELP! 👗💚
Perth Hills Events is looking for a small venue to use for a community fundraiser — preferably free — because we're getting involved in Frocktober!
We're planning a small, fabulous PHE Great Frock Swap to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, and we're looking for a venue willing to partner with us and provide a space at no cost.
We're thinking a relaxed afternoon of fabulous pre-loved clothing, afternoon tea, good company and, of course, a little bit of twirling! 💃
👗 But we're talking GOOD frocks!
This isn't a general wardrobe clean-out. We're after the really good stuff — the pieces that are too fabulous to sit forgotten in the back of the wardrobe.
✨ Gorgeous dresses and frocks
✨ Vintage treasures
✨ Designer and quality labels
✨ Cocktail and evening wear
✨ Beautiful skirts, jackets and statement pieces
✨ Fabulous accessories
✨ Those "I only wore it once and it deserves another outing" pieces
And yes...
🚫 Millers clothing is banned! 😂
No stained, stretched, damaged or well-loved-to-death clothing. If you wouldn't be excited to find it on a boutique rack, please don't bring it!
💚 Inclusive by design
This is for everyone, regardless of gender. Frocks have no rules!
When registering, we'll ask what size ranges your clothing covers — not your own size — simply so we can keep an eye on the mix and encourage a good variety.
We're thinking broad ranges:
6–10 | 10–14 | 14–18 | 18–22 | 22–26 | 26+, plus vintage/variable sizing.
☕ Keep it PHE!
We're thinking afternoon tea — bring a plate!
Bring a frock, pay an entry/fundraising fee, bring along something yummy to share and find yourself a new-to-you treasure.
No prizes, no judging and no competition — but there may be a Frock Twirl! 💃
Because if you find a fabulous frock, you absolutely have to twirl in it!
💚 Entry fees will go towards Frocktober and ovarian cancer research.
♻️ Good clothing gets another life.
👗 We get to play dress-ups.
☕ We eat cake.
💃 We twirl.
