Rebranding doesn’t erase history.

Atlas Building (WA) is the continuation of BGC’s building arm (under which thousands of WA customers suffered major delays. Government knew this and we spoke directly to Cook in his Kwinana office about future tenders!!)

Why was this entity chosen for a public housing project?

We shudder to think what billionaire founder Len Buckeridge would think of BGC’s water-logged mess. Plus: Why Sabrina Carpenter should front an advertising campaign for a WA miner.

"BGC is separately suing Iplex in the Federal Court, alleging the pipes weren’t fit for purpose...'

What else might not be "fit for purpose" in your BGC built house?

Hundreds of WA customers living in new homes prone to leaks and flooding due to faulty piping have received some welcome news ahead of a State Administrative Tribunal hearing.

Is this just another example of our government watchdog having no teeth? How many more builders are trading insolvent? Enough with legislative confidentiality provisios. The government should be proactive and start working for the people!
..
Last Friday, industry regulator Building and Energy said it was “aware of concerns raised about this builder.”

“However, due to legislated confidentiality provisions, we cannot confirm if any complaints or investigations are underway in relation to particular builders,” a spokesperson said.

Another inadequate response from WA Labor

Back in September of 2023, we sat with Roger Cook in Kwinana and delivered him the first round of heartfelt letters filled with pain. The evidence we presented painted a clear picture of torturous abuse of power.

Did we hear back? No.
Do we all have our keys? No.
Is BGC being awarded government contracts? Yes.
Is the builder completing homes for themselves? Yes.

And now another letter has been penned by customers still waiting for their homes to be completed. There are suspected to be hundreds of homes left incomplete, despite BGC ceasing sales 2 years ago!!

Niche. Inspired. Why not BGC, Mr Cook? It's time for you to speak up!

Hundreds of BGC customers left without homes after construction delays say they’ve had enough — and want answers from the top.
