Employers be prepared for 2025 Financial Year

1. Minimum wage changes from 1 July 2024, WA State is $24.15 for full/part time employees. If you are employed by a sole trader, partnership or family trust. Under the fair work act the new rate will be $24.10ph for pty ltd companies. For more information look up commerce.wa.gov.au or fairwork.gov.au

2. Super guarantee charge will be increasing to 11.5% from 1 July 2024.

3. Employment conditions for businesses operating under the national industrial award (proprietary Limited companies) changes to terms and conditions for casual employment and independent contractors from 26 August 2024

4. Changes to marginal tax rates, these should automatically update in your payroll system from 1 July 2024
