Where do I even begin? The past twelve months have been an absolute whirlwind. Finding out I was pregnant with our beautiful Ruby girl was one of the most exciting moments of my life—but it also came with its fair share of anxiety and uncertainty. Her due date landed right in the middle of wedding season, which meant I had to rehome and reassure so many of my couples, all while navigating the unknowns of new motherhood.

I worked until I was 37 weeks pregnant and returned just three weeks postpartum, so conscious of not letting anyone down. It was challenging, emotional, and exhausting—but also a reminder of just how much heart goes into this work.

As you plan your wedding, remember that small business owners are the beating heart of it all. We pour everything into making your day perfect, often sacrificing more than we let on. But truthfully? We wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

and James had planned to marry in Perth earlier this year, but at the last moment, they chose a different path—one that felt truly right for them. Trading a big wedding for an intimate ceremony in London, they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family. Upon their return, I had the privilege of helping them with the legal side of things, finalising their marriage at Izzy’s family home, captured by my beautiful friend .

Congratulations! I am so pumped that you have decided to tie the knot and even more excited that you’re considering me as the celebrant for your big day. I’m a young communications professional who loves working with people and telling great stories, so being a marriage celebrant is a dream come true. It all began when friends and family started to ask me to play a different role on their wedding day… their celebrant. And y’know what? I absolutely loved it.
