Last weekend, we hosted a private Everlasting Wreath-Making class for a birthday, and the atmosphere was just magical. From the moment guests arrived, the studio was filled with inspiration, laughter, and the gentle scent of dried blooms.

Studnets can choose from a gorgeous selection of florals—soft pastels, vibrant pops of colour, and textures that make every wreath completely unique. To make the experience even more special, a bottle of champagne is included, and you can add a grazing platter for an extra touch, thanks to our friends at Local Café

The workbench last week scattered with tiny hand-wired dry floral bundles in deep crimson and black, crafted for a hens party flower crown order. I even painted some of the florals to get the right selection of colours for this Gothic inspired crown.

Over the last few months, Helena Rose has been evolving into something more and more bespoke.

The kind of bespoke where every week looks different and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As I no longer create grab-and-go florals, my business has naturally shifted away from the need to be in-store for such long hours. Many of you visit later in the day often in the afternoons or evenings after work.

My mornings are now spent out in the community teaching travel classes at private events, homes, and schools as well as sourcing the perfect florals, creating and delivering custom pieces, setting up for home staging and hunting for those little details that make each creation uniquely yours.

Working mornings simply no longer suits my business model or schedule and this shift has been such a beautiful reminder that Helena Rose isn’t just a shop — it’s a studio, a travelling workshop, and a place where creativity meets people right where they are.

A special thank you bouquet from a client to their real estate agent for helping sell their home.

I wanted to make this extra bespoke, so I went on the hunt for a little house to nestle into the arrangement. Easier said than done! After hours of walking through every op shop and store around Cleveland, I finally struck gold at — the sweetest little wooden houses.

I took these back to the store, I gave one a fresh coat of paint, I decided to do a sage colour to match the floral seletion, drilled a hole to fit a wooden dowel and glued on a hand-painted sunflower for that extra touch of cheer. 🌻 It’s now nestled amongst the florals as a one of a kind keepsake!

Our Story

THE STORY BEHIND Helena Rose

With an innovative approach to style, Helena Rose marries clean, classic forms with fresh, feminine modernity and a playful sense of nostalgia. Bold colours, unexpected trims and high-quality materials are the signature elements that define the collection every season.

A successful and inspired brand, Helena Rose has traversed to over twenty countries across the globe as a stylist and has an impressive presence in the pages of international fashion journals such as Jute Magazine and Dreamingless Magazine while simultaneously taking a millinery class with French Milliner Estelle Ramousee, then working under the mentorship of Couture Milliner Maor Zabar for a month in Israel. Following graduation in 2010, Helena moved to Brisbane to explore a different career path to exercise her aptitude for fashion as a headwear designer.

Since then, the offering has steadily evolved to include a range of headwear pieces that are created by hand in a small Brisbane development studio. The hats, in particular, possess a sculptural beauty while maintaining straightforward wearability–this balance perfected by hand finishes and considered design.
