We've been keeping a couple of tiny little secrets...
Last Tuesday, two very fluffy new friends joined our family, and we're finally ready to introduce them.
Meet the newest members of Berry Lane Farm and Berry Vintage— our beautiful micro donkeys. 🫏🤎
For the last couple of years, we've been floating and dancing around different ideas about where our association including berry vintage was heading. After over a decade of lifting, shifting, and absolutely pumping it with countless weddings, meeting some amazing couples , winning many awards including best hire and styling company in Australia, we decided that our priorities were shifting, and doing more for the community, a little less stress on our bodies and including our great love for animals was needed. We had plenty of ideas, but none felt quite right. We knew we wanted whatever came next to align with our hearts, our values, and the reasons we started this journey in the first place.
The things that kept coming up were simple: animals, celebrating love, working together as a family, creating meaningful experiences, and spending less time packing, stacking and rushing around, much less time on the road driving and more time connecting, cuddling, and mingling and creating beautiful spaces and experiences.
These little donkeys are part of that vision.
Moving forward, while we will still offer some receptions and events which is what we do best…our focus will be shifting towards ceremonies, cocktail hours, and intimate celebrations. We'll also be opening up more opportunities to host events here on our farm for our members surrounded by the animals and the peaceful country setting that we love so much. -for ceremony only.
Can you imagine a pair of tiny donkeys greeting guests, wandering through cocktail hour, posing for photos, or perhaps even carrying the rings down the aisle? We certainly can, and we can't wait to bring those experiences to life. They are currently in training but the smooches are real and it won’t be long before they will be recruited!
These experiences are available exclusively to our members. One of the things we love most about this model is that every event does more than create a beautiful memory. Every dollar generated goes back into the association, supporting the care of our sanctuary animals and helping fund projects that matter to us, including community initiatives such as our upcoming work in Vanuatu and so many future projects!
So when you celebrate with us, you're not just creating a special day for yourself — you're helping create opportunities, care, and impact for others too.
We are so excited about this next chapter and can't wait to share it with you all.
